The Lexington Partnership for Workforce Development (LPWD), a private, not-for-profit organization, was created to assist with workforce development needs of the Lexington area. The LPWD facilitates and convenes corporate, education and community leaders in Central Kentucky to collaboratively bring solutions to our long-term education and workforce development challenges by making the best possible use of all available resources.
The LPWD, a subsidiary of Commerce Lexington Inc., has a separate board of directors comprised of 25 public and private organization representatives.
